About Me

Although I'm pretty new to card making, I love to make cards!  I've never considered myself to be "crafty"...give me a glue gun  and I was pretty sure that I'd glue my fingers together.  However, about two years ago I needed a hobby that I could do here at home while taking care of my elderly dad.  I bought some paper, a couple of ink pads, 2 rubber stamps, some embossing powder (I had no idea what I was suppose to do with it), and a heat tool.  The next day I went back and bought a Quickutz handheld die cutting tool and 2 dies.  And so it began - I discovered that I do indeed have a talent for making things and my friends and family look forward to receiving the things that I make.  I'm shocked and they are in awe.

My husband and I have been married for nearly 25 years.  We don't have any children, but we do have 3 cats - Tribble, Cira and Katie.

My other hobbies include: gardening, cooking, NASCAR, writing my cookbook and genealogy.
